History of Instant Quote Professional We began our business back in 1994 as a hardware and equipment reseller. Quotes to our customers consisted of a spreadsheet based quotation that took us about an hour to prepare. Additionally, we realized the need to be able to quickly turn the quote into an invoice and track product serial numbers back to the invoice. Finding older spreadsheet quotes when a customer wanted to make a change or addition proved cumbersome. PC Reseller System was born out of this need. We developed the software to solve all of these problems, then quickly realized that the software could be of benefit to other sales businesses. Through customer feedback and suggestions, PC Reseller System has continued to evolve into a highly productive and organized package. Finally, in January, 2000, Instant Quote 2000 was released, now called Instant Quote Professional, our professional quoting package. |
